Facebook page verification in Nepal. Getting your page verified on Facebook is a relatively easy task now than it was earlier. This article introduces you to the blue tick mark and how you can accelerate the process for your page to get verified. However first things first, what is a verified page and what does it mean to have a tick mark on your facebook page??
What is a verified page?
A blue tick or a verified page means that Facebook thinks the particular profile or page is the actual representation of the original brand or public personality on Facebook. The blue tick mark is the sign of genuinity. Facebook verifies some pages and profiles to let its users know that they’re authentic pages and profiles.
Having a blue badge on a Page or profile means that Facebook has confirmed that this is the authentic Page or profile for the particular public figure, media company or brand. There is also another variant of the tick that is the gray badge
. If you see a gray badge on a Page, it means that Facebook confirmed that this is an authentic Page for the particular business or organization.
So, depending upon the type of page you have you will be eligible of either of the two badges. Gray or Blue
, owing to the fact that you should be representing the business officially.
How do I get my page verified?
Generally Facebook proactively reaches out to pages and provides them with the badge. However you can also fill up forms to let them know you are authentic and would like to have the badge. The biggest myth out there probably is that the number of likes matter. When it comes to verification, the number of likes does not matter.
Let’s go through the blue tick mark. It is only available if the pages are under these categories:
