Health & Safety Policy

Gurkha Technology is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, clients, contractors, and visitors. This policy outlines our approach to maintaining health, safety, and well-being in our workplace and in all work-related activities.

1. Commitment

We actively promote a culture where health and safety is everyone’s responsibility. Management is committed to complying with all relevant health and safety legislation and taking all reasonable steps to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards.

2. Responsibilities

  • Management: Ensure systems are in place to identify, assess, and control health and safety risks.
  • Employees: Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others affected by their actions.
  • Visitors & Contractors: Must comply with all safety instructions and report any incidents or hazards immediately.

3. Workplace Environment

We maintain a clean, organized, and ergonomic working environment. Regular assessments are carried out to ensure workstations, electrical systems, and emergency equipment are safe and functional.

4. Incident Reporting

All accidents, injuries, near-misses, and hazards must be reported immediately to the designated safety officer or management. Prompt reporting ensures appropriate action can be taken and risks mitigated.

5. Mental Health & Wellbeing

We recognize the importance of mental health. We encourage open communication, provide support where possible, and promote a positive, respectful workplace culture.

6. Continuous Improvement

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as required to reflect changes in legislation, operations, or working conditions. Feedback from employees and safety audits will help drive ongoing improvements.
