Apple Maps is the service of Apple inc. The official name of the service is Apple Maps Connect. The following steps need to be taken to enlist a business in Apple Maps.
- Login to apple maps with your apple account
Either you create one or you use your existing apple account. Go to https://mapsconnect.apple.com/ and sign in with your apple account.
- Add a new business
After you login, go to the add a new business page. In the add a new business on apple maps you will have to select your position on the business you are trying to add. Either “I’m the business owner or “I’m authorized by the business owner.”
3.Write down your business details
Write down everything about your business. 🙂 Your business name, contact numbers and business address that your visitors can find you in.
4. Phone verification of business
Apple will call you and provide you with a PIN code to verify the phone number. You can also “Verify Later.”
- Business Category
You can either choose a category that’s already in or submit a new one.
- Hours of operation
Let the people that are looking for you know when you are open and closed
7. Websites, social accounts and other contacts
Write down more stuffs that relate to you and web addresses that people can find you in.
8. The last thing
Review all your information before you click “OK” then after you are done. 🙂 New listings should appear within Apple’s Maps app within a week at most. If additional verification is required, expect to hear from Apple soon.
